Brad Paquette, a Michigan state legislator, posted a series of tweets in July 2025 addressing national politics and state legislative initiatives.

On July 18, 2025, Paquette commented on former President Donald Trump’s policy record, stating: “If Trump can make good on his promises concerning the economy, diplomacy, border security, MAHA, and transparency/corruption… he undeniably belongs on Mt. Rushmore. Many tall tasks, but what is most important is that he by himself set many of these reforms in motion already.”

The following day, July 19, 2025, Paquette turned his attention to state-level criminal justice issues. He wrote: “Michigan can improve to keep cold cases alive and give hope to families of victims. We are hopeful to land on language for legislation that helps to further activate forensic students around the state to apply fresh perspectives to evidence. On July 20, 2025, Paquette responded briefly to another user with: “Well done, Sean. Forgot about this one.”

Paquette has previously advocated for legislative reforms related to public safety and transparency in Michigan government. His recent comments reflect both his engagement with national political debates and ongoing work within the state’s legislative process.
