On Sunday, March 30, former Mattawan High School standout Brendan Garza’s current college team, the Ball State Cardinals, lost 11-5 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Akron Zips.
The game took place at Skeeles Field. This was their third matchup against the Zips this season.
The Cardinals’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, April 1 at 3 p.m. at Ball Diamond against Bellarmine Knights.
