On Friday, May 30, former Mattawan High School standout Carson Byers’ current collegiate team the Miami RedHawks lost 2-9 against the Tennessee Volunteers in the NCAA Division I Baseball Championship.

The game took place at Lindsey Nelson Stadium at 6 p.m. and was the first matchup against the Tennessee Volunteers in the tournament.

The Miami RedHawks’ next game will take place on Saturday, May 31 at 12:05 p.m. at Lindsey Nelson Stadium.
