On Saturday, March 29, former Mattawan High School standout Carson Byers’ current college team, the Miami RedHawks, won 12-2 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Western Michigan Broncos.

The game took place at McKie Field at Hayden Park. This was their third matchup against the Broncos this season.

The RedHawks’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, April 1 at 3 p.m. at McKie Field at Hayden Park against Cincinnati Bearcats.
