On Tuesday, April 1, former Mattawan High School standout Luke Kerrins’ current college team, the Western Michigan Broncos, won 5-4 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.

The game took place at Frank Eck Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Fighting Irish this season.

The Broncos’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 4 at 3:05 p.m. at Robert J. Bobb Stadium at Hyames Field against Citadel Bulldogs.
