On Thursday, May 15, former Mattawan High School standout Parker Neel’s current collegiate team the Davenport Panthers won 7-6 against the Ashland Eagles in the NCAA Division II Baseball Championship.

The game took place at Farmers Insurance Athletic Complex at 3:30 p.m. and was the first matchup against the Ashland Eagles in the tournament.

The Davenport Panthers’ next game will take place on Friday, May 16 at 12 p.m. at Farmers Insurance Athletic Complex.
