Non-residents paid 6.7 percent more than residents this year, or $6,675. Their price tag grew 2.3 percent from $6,525 in 2017-18.
About 80 percent of the school's undergraduate population are Michigan residents. And about 20 percent are residents of other states.
Data shows 90 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 452 students received grants or scholarships totaling $2.3 million and 186 students took out student loans totaling more than $877,249.
Including all undergraduates (2,130), 1,254 students used grants or scholarships totaling $5.9 million, and 559 students took out $2.7 million in federal student loans.
