Buchanan Community Schools issued the following announcement on Oct 13.
Boosters: If it has been 6 months or more, since your last Pfizer covid vaccine, you may register for a booster dose if one of the following applies:
* you are 65 years of age and older:
* you are 18 through 64 years of age at high risk of severe COVID-19; or
* you are 18 through 64 years of age whose frequent institutional or occupational exposure to SARS-CoV-2 puts them at high risk of serious complications of COVID-19 including severe COVID-19.
* 2nd Covid -19 Dose Clinic is scheduled for November 16th. (No flu offered at this clinic)
** Please note: You must bring your vaccination card with to the vaccine clinic
*** If you received a Moderna or Johnson & Johnson Vaccine initially, you may not get a booster of the Pfizer.
