The Coordinator of State and Federal Programs also serves as the District's liaison on all federal and state programming duties. The Coordinator is responsible for assisting the transition from MiCIP process. This position is responsible for analyzing data and working with the school administration and faculty in understanding assessment data to generate effective responses to the school and students' needs. The Coordinator is responsible for providing each school with technical assistance in developing and implementing school-based school improvement teams and helping those teams to align identified needs with budget recommendation. This position oversees the development of the District Improvement Plan and ensures timely submission of the Consolidated Application and Comprehensive Needs Assessments. The Coordinator will work in tandem with the Grant Accountant and the Business Office to ensure compliance, accuracy, timeliness and integrity of all grant accounting and reporting within the financial systems, including alignment with budgets in the MEGS and NexSys systems. Finally, the Coordinator is responsible for developing and implementing processes that clearly monitor and track title-funded positions and their demonstration of effectiveness.
