Calling all future Broadcasters! The Shamrocks Network is starting a Broadcasting Club.FUTURE BROADCASTERS - Have you ever dreamed of calling play-by-play of Football, Basketball, Baseball, Softball, Volleyball, Wrestling or Soccer? Do you practice or pretend to call games with the sound turned down on the TV? Have you thought about broadcasting but didn't know where to even begin? My name is Joe Jason. For 43 years I have been a play-by-play broadcaster of sports. I have owned/operated 5 radio stations, and have served as the voice of the MHSAA Championships for the last 22 years on radio and TV. My broadcast career began with a dream of working in radio with no idea how to get a break. Today I have 9 broadcast networks across Michigan, including the Berrien Springs Broadcast Network. The next venture I am developing is a Broadcasting Club, encouraging any high school and college age person to join our club and learn how to be a broadcaster of sports. The only requirement to join the Club is a desire to be a broadcaster. No experience is necessary, just your willingness to learn. Our Broadcasting Club will begin in early 2022.
