The DMS Honors Club held "Socktober" for the last two weeks of October. "Socktober" is an event where people in the community donate a pair of socks to help make a big difference in the lives of those who are in need.
Teachers and students at DMS donated over 900 pairs of socks in the last 2 weeks of October to give to a local organization. The class that donated the most was Mr. Buynar's 1st-hour, coming in second was Mr. J. Turner's 1st-hour class.
