Every week we emphasize a specific behavior that relates to our H.E.R.O.E.S. expectations.
Each letter represents something we want our students to exhibit at school: H=Helpful, E=Engaged, R=Respectful, O=Ownership, E=Empathy, S=Safe.
This week our focus was being respectful and kind to others. Students wrote about how they demonstrated these behaviors on post it notes and submitted them to our H.E.R.O.E.S. BOX. Several responses were drawn by staff and read to the rest of the student body. The students whose names were drawn earned a 10 pt. extra credit slip as well as a cup of hot chocolate.
It was a perfect way to end a very snowy week! Great job CHIEFTAINS!!
