Brad Paquette, a Michigan state legislator, recently posted several statements on his Twitter account addressing political representation, gender theory, and COVID-19 vaccine safety.

On August 3, 2025, Paquette called for action regarding legislative representation in Michigan's 35th senate district. He wrote: "It is reasonable to call on @GovWhitmer to post for a special election for the 35th senate seat, especially before she visits any other countries for a diplomatic visit. It has been well over 200 days where that district lacks representation in the Michigan Senate."

The following day, August 4, Paquette commented on ongoing debates around gender theory. In his tweet he stated: "Prisha makes a point here that is important to consider. Gender theory is a significant threat to future civilization. Youth are being misled to believe that human bodies can be fundamentally changed on a whim at the character selection screen, i.e., the cosmetic surgeon."

Later that same day, Paquette addressed concerns about COVID-19 vaccines produced by Pfizer. He tweeted: "Pfizer knew their shot was not safe/effective, especially for young men. Lock up what they fully knew about it for 75 years, they say."
