Senator Michele Hoitenga schedules local office hour in Onaway for August

State Sen. Michele Hoitenga will hold an in-district office hour for local residents on Tuesday, Aug. 19, in Onaway. The meeting is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Michigan Room of the Onaway Branch of the Presque Isle District Library, located at 20774 State St., Onaway. The building’s rear entrance is available for those with accessibility needs.

The session is open to all residents of the district who wish to discuss state government issues or request help with a state-related matter. Constituents seeking privacy will be given priority during discussions.

No appointments are required for this event, but space may be limited due to capacity restrictions. Additional office hours will be planned for other areas within the 36th Senate District at a later date.

The 36th Senate District covers Alpena, Alcona, Arenac, Crawford, Iosco, Kalkaska, Missaukee, Montmorency, Ogemaw, Oscoda, Otsego, Presque Isle, Roscommon and Wexford counties as well as parts of Bay and Manistee counties.
