Brad Paquette, a Michigan state legislator, has recently posted several statements on his social media account addressing topics ranging from corporate transparency to public health and legislative debates.

On September 1, 2025, Paquette raised concerns about communication with Pfizer’s government affairs team. He wrote, "Pfizer's government affairs told me that they'd answer any of my questions... I asked one over voicemail: Is Jordon Walker from the @Project_Veritas video really a director of mRNA at your company? He blocked my phone number."

Two days later, on September 3, 2025, Paquette commented on taxpayer funding for certain food items in Michigan. He stated, "Taxpayers should not be subsidizing pop and candy here in Michigan. We are giving it our all to join the Make America Healthier movement." This reflects ongoing discussions within the state regarding public health initiatives and efforts to reduce consumption of sugary foods and beverages.

On September 4, 2025, Paquette addressed a legislative committee hearing involving an American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) representative. In his post he said, "An ACLU representative of anti-science showed up in committee conflating sex with gender identity disorder. Sex is not gender identity. Legislation that designates males to male spaces is not discriminatory." The remarks come amid broader national debates over legislation concerning gender identity and access to single-sex spaces.

Paquette’s recent posts highlight current policy discussions in Michigan related to corporate accountability, public health spending priorities, and legislation affecting gender-related issues.
