On Saturday, March 14, AJ Rickli, a former Paw Paw High School athlete, and his college team, the Wayne State Warriors, were defeated 90-70 by the Grand Valley State Lakers in the NCAA Division II Basketball Tournament.
The matchup against Grand Valley State took place at the GVSU Fieldhouse at 7:30 p.m. and marked the two teams’ first meeting in the tournament.
