On Friday, March 13, AJ Rickli, a former Paw Paw High School standout now playing for the Wayne State Warriors, contributed as his team defeated the Northern Michigan Wildcats 77-61 in the NCAA Division II Basketball Tournament.

The contest tipped off at 7:30 p.m. at GVSU Fieldhouse, marking the Warriors’ first tournament meeting with Northern Michigan.

Wayne State advances to play again on Saturday, March 14 at 7:30 p.m. at GVSU Fieldhouse.
