Berrien County recently issued the following announcement.
If you haven't made a winter off-road kit, it's not too late.
Creating a kit to keep in your vehicle helps you be prepared in the event that your vehicle gets stuck in the snow or if your vehicle goes off the road and into a drift.
A few items that contribute to creating a good kit include:
Shovel
Cat litter - for traction
Tow Rope
Tool Kit
Blankets
Extra Coats, Boots, Gloves, etc.
Phone Charger / Cord
Jumper Cables
Flashlight
