St. Joseph Charter Township issued the following announcement on April 7.
This episode of Township Talk focuses on the importance of bringing broadband access to under and unserved communities in Michigan. The episode was recorded prior to the first case of COVID-19 in Michigan and subsequent actions and changes throughout our state, so the tone and focus of the conversation is certainly different than if we had recorded it today. However, the need for reliable internet access—for our students, businesses and local governments--is more evident than ever. In this episode, MTA Executive Director Neil Sheridan talks with partners from Merit Network, Inc. and Michigan State Spartans Quello Center, Michigan State University about broadband access and a project that aims to expand access to more Michiganders.
