Coronaaa

Bridgman Public Library issued the following announcement.

To Our Library Community:

First and foremost, we want you to be safe, and well-informed.

In accordance with orders from the Governor's office and the advice of medical professionals, the Bridgman Public Library will be closed to the public until May 4. For up-to-date information from the Governor's Office and to see its recomendations, please click here. Yes, this is the bad news, but...

We at BPL want to help during the closing and Stay Sheltered order

We are extending loan periods to prevent overdues, including MelCat materials. Please continue to read, watch, play any materials you currently have checked out...even wifi hotspots and items from our Library of Things collection (e.g. ukuleles).

While we realize this is a hardship, we value, above all else, the health and well-being of our community. All of our decisions center on those values, and we look forward to serving you as fully and responsibly as we can. Since we will not be answering our phones...Please contact us via email, our Facebook page, or through our Instagram page. We want to hear from you!

This situation is still changing rapidly. Please check our website, Facebook page, and Instagram site for up-to-date information.
