COLOMA JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL: A Thanksgiving Message from Superintendent Ehlers

Announce

Coloma Junior High School issued the following announcement.

Dear Coloma Parents,

As we head into the Thanksgiving break, we wanted to once again express our gratitude to our Coloma Community families for your continued patience, understanding and grace during this turbulent time.

The month of November is a time for gratitude, reflection and joy.

While this year has seen many challenges, at Coloma Community Schools there is still much to be thankful for as we begin the holiday season.

We know that each of you has been called on to play an even greater role in your child’s education this school year and we are grateful for your support.

At the same time, your family’s efforts to adhere to safety protocols have allowed us to focus on and prioritize student learning. With the continued surge in COVID-19 cases across the county and country, we want to take a moment to remind students and families to adhere to safety recommendations made by MDHHS, Berrien County Health Department and the CDC.

While we have been fortunate to see minimal cases of COVID-19 throughout the school district, we urge you to exercise caution. Our individual efforts to stay safe will benefit the health of our entire community.

As a community, we are all connected and individual decisions can affect many. Remember, we are in this together.

Thank you for your continued commitment to Coloma Community Schools and, more importantly, the students we are privileged to serve.

On behalf of the Board of Education and my fellow educators, I wish you and your family a safe and Happy Thanksgiving. Sincerely,

David A. Ehlers

Superintendent
