MICHIGAN TOWNSHIPS ASSOCIATION: Coronavirus- COVID19 Vaccine

Michigan Townships Association issued the following announcement on Jan. 7.

Certain township employees, including frontline workers & first responders including police and firefighters can get the #COVID19 #vaccine beginning Monday, as #Michigan enters Phase 1B of a revised vaccination distribution plan. Under the new phase, individuals age 65+ can also make appointments beginning Monday to receive the vaccine.

According to today's press conference, eligible essential workers will be notified by their employers about vaccine clinic dates & locations. Individuals age 65+ should seek clinics near them and make an appointment. MTA will provide details to our members as it is available. You can also find more information on the state's COVID-19 vaccine webpage, https://michigan.gov/covidvaccine.
