Dr. Wilce LeVan Cooke (June 18, 1938 – August 2, 2021), proud son of Elizabeth Walker, native son of Benton Harbor, three-time Mayor of Benton Harbor, 50-year veteran nurse to Benton Harbor passed away this evening.
With the deepest respect, love and sorrow we honor and celebrate his life. Benton Harbor Proud.
He made Benton Harbor proud. He meet with Presidents and worked to give health and life to generations of his fellow citizens. Benton Harbor is proud of you. Benton Harbor salutes you.
Benton Harbor Proud. You have finished your course, you have kept the faith, heaven doors welcome you in.
