City of Benton Harbor recently issued the following announcement.
Recruit Academy 21-01 is wrapping up! Students have spent the last week before testing practicing for their practical skills exam as well as doing Haz-Mat Operations! Today students even got to slide the pole in the firehouse! Video of that to follow! This coming week students take their written and practical tests and graduate on Friday evening at 1830hrs! Wish them luck in their final week as they transition from Recruit Firefighters to Probationary Firefighters or "Candidates"! Today we even had a guest instructor, our old Deputy Director Mike Phelps!
