City of Buchanan recently issued the following announcement.
BARB Joint Recreation Plan Project
The Buchanan Area Recreation Board (BARB) has partnered with Buchanan Township to create a Joint Five Year Recreation Plan. This plan will be used to better strategize the implementation of improved recreational offerings throughout both communities over the next five year period, as well as provide a tool to apply for grants for things like trails, new playground equipment, and other recreational needs. The public is highly encouraged to engage in this process, either by completing our survey (which is open until the end of October) or by coming to BARB meetings, which are set forth below. BARB meetings are held at Buchanan City Hall, unless otherwise stated. Questions can be directed to the City Clerk at clerk@cityofbuchanan.com. Thank you!
