City of Buchanan recently issued the following announcement.
Draft Proposed Ordinances up for possible consideration by the City Commission at their next meeting are currently available on the City website at the following link: https://www.cityofbuchanan.com/city-government/public-safety
Please note that none of the draft proposed ordinances listed have been passed yet--they are merely up for consideration at this point. Those who would like to make formal "public comments" for consideration by the City Commission may either (a) email their comments to clerk@cityofbuchanan.com, (b) drop off written comments at Buchanan City Hall, or (c) provide verbal public comments during the "Public Comments- Agenda Items Only" section of the next City Commission meeting, which is scheduled for 7pm on Monday, December 13th.
Anyone with questions is encouraged to call City Hall or send a private FB message.
*Note- "comments" posted on Facebook do not constitute official public comment that will be submitted to the City Commission. If you want the City Commission to consider your comments, please use one of the three options listed above. Thank you.
