City of Buchanan issued the following announcement on Dec 21.
SHARE! Merry (almost) Christmas everyone! Are you ready to show your holiday spirit? Please comment on this post to share pictures or locations of the best Christmas light displays in the City to help spread Christmas cheer, and also to help three lucky residents of the City of Buchanan win some amazing cash prizes provided by the AEP Foundation on behalf of Indiana Michigan Power!!!! In partnership with the City of Buchanan, 3 residents with the best Christmas light displays will be selected to receive the following prizes: $100 for 3rd place, $150 for 2nd place, and $250 for 1st place! That is a lot of extra Christmas money, and will also help with those Christmas light electric bills, so please like and share this post, and be sure to comment below to share pictures of your favorite Christmas displays!!
Judging will take place at 8:00 p.m. on Christmas Eve, so be sure to have your lights on at that time to participate! Thank you AEP Foundation for your support of this fun community program!
