City of Portage issued the following announcement on Jan 10.
Are you certified to instruct fitness classes such as Tai Chi, Zumba, and Cardio Drumming? The Portage Senior Center is seeking new instructors! Instructors must have experience and training related to instructing older adults in a fitness setting. Scheduling is flexible.
The Portage Senior Center is also seeking individuals interested in offering instruction in other areas such as arts, technology, and music.
Would you like to instruct a class that isn't mentioned? Please let us know! All interested individuals should send an email to senior@portagemi.gov and a staff member will get in touch with you.
