City of Portage recently issued the following announcement.
STREETS/PARKS MAINTENANCE TECHNICIANS (CDL B REQUIRED) - The Department of Public Works is seeking Streets/Parks maintenance technicians to join their team.
These individuals will be responsible for semi-skilled manual construction and maintenance activities associated with the City of Portage properties, city streets, sewers, parks and cemeteries from April to October. In late fall, the position transitions to operation of heavy duty trucks for leaf pick-up and snow removal. Pay is $18.75 per hour. Overtime required. Excellent benefits.
