“During her years as an English teacher, and then as Director of Afterschool Rocks, Mrs. Chadderdon has strived to get to know students. She goes out of her way to help them succeed, not just with good grades, but in their lives outside of school. Mrs. Chadderdon loves to learn about the cultural background, extracurricular activities, and home lives of students as it helps her better understand their needs. She uses what she gleans to better implement tactics to encourage growth. Her kindness and genuine love for them radiates into the students, making them more comfortable, and able to feel they can ask questions and seek the help they need.
