79.1% of Cass County residents old enough to vote in 2021

Of the 51,632 citizens living in Cass County in 2021, 79.1% were old enough to vote, equating to 40,850 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 20,482 were male, constituting 50.1%, and 20,368 were female, making up 49.9%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Cass County during 2021 was higher than the state average, which stands at 78.2%.
