5.6% of Cass County residents considered unemployed in 2021

Cass County recorded an unemployment rate of 5.6% among residents aged 16 and 65 years old in 2021. That’s 1,434 people out of the 51,632 living in Cass County at the time, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The unemployment rate in Cass County has decreased compared to the 5.8% registered in 2020.

The percentage of people unemployed in Cass County was less than the statewide unemployment rate of 6.2%.

Of the 24,112 people who had a job during that time, 3 were employed in the Armed Forces and 24,109 belonged to the civilian labor force.
